There Are Alien Artifacts Hidden in Your City Right Now—And You Can Actually Find Them

No cap, this sounds like some ARG fever dream, but it's real. Right now, in select cities around the world, there are physical tokens sitting in plain sight—on park benches, bridge railings, monument corners—waiting for someone to notice them. They're not Easter eggs or marketing gimmicks. They're relics from the Foundryon civilization, and finding one gets you access to something most people don't even know exists.

What Even Is This?

Foundryon's Galactic Fossils Relic Hunt is an urban sci-fi geocaching game where relics appear across select cities around the world. Think Pokémon GO but instead of catching digital creatures, you're hunting actual physical objects that look like alien fossils, weathered seashells, or artifacts from a civilization that existed light-years away.

These tokens rest in plain sight, placed on corners, monuments, bridges, or benches, waiting for seekers with sharp eyes and curious minds. They're not hidden or buried—they're just... there. Blending into the urban landscape until someone stops scrolling long enough to actually look around.

And here's the thing: by finding one, you don't just hold a token—you carry proof of contact. You become part of an expanding network of Seekers piecing together the story of Foundryon—a far-away civilization that vanished, leaving only these scattered fragments across our world.

How It Actually Works

The process is surprisingly straightforward:

  1. Check the map at foundryon.com/foundryons-galactic-fossil-hunt to see if there's a hunt happening in your city

  2. Go outside and look—seriously, that's it. The relics are placed in public spaces

  3. Take the token when you find it (it's yours, no cap)

  4. Snap a photo with your phone

  5. Post it to r/foundryon on Reddit

  6. Receive your Level One Access Code—this permanently unlocks the Foundryon Hunt Console

In the Foundryon Hunt Console you can track how the Foundryon signal spreads and connect with other Seekers from Germany and around the world.

The Rules Are Simple But Strict

  • One relic = one finder. No double claims

  • Every relic is unique. If you found it, it's yours

  • No trading or passing tokens—each must be earned by discovery

  • No sharing of the access codes

This isn't a collectible card game where you can just buy your way in. You have to actually go out there and find it yourself.

Why This Hits Different

Look, we're all chronically online. Most "IRL experiences" these days are just excuses to take photos for Instagram. But this? This actually makes you pay attention to your surroundings. You start noticing corners of your city you've walked past a thousand times. You look at benches differently. Monuments become potential drop zones.

Each relic brings you closer to the Universe of Foundryon connecting us to the once thriving far-away civilization. They are fragments of a story larger than the streets they rest on—objects that blur the line between artifact and game, between urban space and scientific imagination.

Plus, there's something genuinely satisfying about holding a physical object that unlocks a digital layer of reality. It's not just clicking a link or entering your email. You had to be there, in that specific place, at that specific time, and actually notice something most people walked right past.

The Hunt Is Expanding

South Germany is a first region joining the Foundryon's initial Level 1 Hunt, with recent drops confirmed in Munich, Erding, and Landshut. But the network is growing—seekers from the UK, across Europe, and beyond are already connecting through the Console.

The hunt does not rest. Cities change, new tokens surface. Attentive Seekers receive an access code after presenting their finding. New signals keep appearing. The Codex keeps expanding. And every token claimed adds another piece to the larger story.

So What Are You Waiting For?

If you're tired of the same old digital grind and want to do something that feels genuinely different, this is it. No paywall, no microtransactions, no battle pass. Just you, your city, and the possibility that something extraordinary is hiding in plain sight.

Check if your city is on the map. Go outside. Look around. Actually pay attention.

What seems ordinary might carry the signature of something extraordinary—waiting for you to discover it.

The Foundryon civilization is waiting to be uncovered. And the next relic might be sitting on a bench three blocks from where you're reading this right now.
